The Property & Home
On a private clearing among majestic California Redwoods, a rare opportunity - an exceptional luxury A-frame cabin complete with hundreds of thousands of dollars in upgrades, and includes brand new, stunning fine furnishings imported from Europe. This is a great second home getaway or potential income property.
Dutch designer Timo van Riggelen and the homeowners created a masterpiece of this 2823SF home over a 12 month process. Luxury meets practicality for easy living, such as the large, faux-marble kitchen island that won't stain, luxury stain resistent Nobilis couch, and custom deck chairs of weather material that is also UV and mold resistant.
Soaring windows give spectacular sunrise to sunset nature shows! Relax by a sparkling blue pool with great space to lounge or gather, featuring a fantastic open sky view and beautiful mountains filling the horizon. On the decks stargaze under a blanket of stars, see the Milky Way! Or inside the home, relish the views while unwinding next to a dramatic stone facade fireplace.

Rudy Road was reimagined with the help of Dutch designer Timo van Riggelen. Timo brought a unique comfortable modern aesthetic to the woodsy retreat, honoring the beautiful surroundings and turning the interior into a delight of texture and color with each carefully considered touch.
Timo was trained at the Jan des Bouvrie Academy outside Amsterdam and worked in Eric Kuster’s studio and in Studio Jan des Bouvrie before breaking out on his own to launch The Interior Boardroom in 2017. His aesthetic puts a very livable, cozy spin on the modern European style. Clean lines and light and airy spaces are punctuated with details and furnishings that make you want to stay awhile.
All his projects are deeply influenced by their contexts – the physical space they inhabit and the lifestyle of the clients that inhabit them. Timo’s feel for patterns and textures seems instinctive. He works with a massive library of fabrics and brands sourced from Italy, Germany and France for his typically custom-upholstered pieces.
Timo has built out projects throughout his native Netherlands as well as on the Spanish island of Ibiza and now in the United States. He counts well-known European footballers among his clientele, along with successful business people of all stripes.
